Weight Loss for Women is slightly different than weight loss for men.
In this video, titled \”Weight Loss for Women. Personal Trainer Explains What Women do Wrong When Trying to Lose Weight\”, I discuss the differences between men and women when it comes to weight loss. For one thing, men have more muscle mass which naturally speeds up their metabolism. Also, women have natural hormonal fluctuations that should be taken into account when making recommendations for exercise, nutrition and supplementation.
It goes beyond just weight loss tips for women, and gives complete strategies. I talk about an integrated approach that combines exercise with nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle. Everything must be integrated for the complete package to get the best, most effective results possible.
I also discuss how women\’s bodies change through menopause, and not only that, but also why a certain amount of fat gain during menopause may actually be desirable and beneficial.
Weight loss supplements for women are also discussed. We are all different, so how much sense does it make to recommend the same supplements to every person? It doesn\’t. The only thing that can be said to be universally applicable is a multi-vitamin. Everything else has to be looked at on a case-by-case basis.
Nutrition is tremendously important for people, and that should be the first area we look at when it comes to weight loss. Simply put, you can’t out-exercise a bad diet.
It’s important to know not just what to eat, but also what not to eat. I give a simple, but accurate way of assessing what’s good for you. We know that junk food and fast food is universally bad. This isn’t what I’m talking about. Certain people have certain reactions to certain healthy foods. For a number of people, tomatoes and egg plants give them joint pain. Milk can give them nasal congestion. These are just a few examples.
Lastly, I also discuss where many women go wrong in terms of their exercise. Simply put, women overemphasize stretching and cardio, and underemphasize resistance training. Yet resistance training is the key to speeding up your metabolism. Then, even for women who do perform resistance training, they are afraid to put in enough effort into it for fear of suddenly turning into a muscular she-man. The truth of the matter is that women who do perform resistance training properly, with a lot of effort have far better bodies than women who don\’t.
